Adoption fees
+ 1 Adult (1 year+) Spayed/Neutered Cat: $50

+ "Buddy System": Adopt 1 Adult Cat, and the Adoption Fee is Half for the Second Adult Cat! $75 for 2

+ 1 Spayed/Neutered Kitten (under 1 year): $75

+ 2 Spayed/Neutered Kittens: $125

+ 1 Cat and 1 Kitten (both altered): $100

Adopters of unaltered kittens must make a confirmed appointment with their veterinarian for spay or neuter before adoption. Pre-pay is required in most cases.

+ Dog and puppy fees are determined on a case-by-case basis. They typically range from $150-$250.

+ Rabbits and small animals are $25. Small animal supplies (cages, etc.) are also often available for an additional small fee.

+ The adoption fee (for cats and small animals only) is waived for any approved adopter over the age of 62 or on a fixed income.

These fees do not come close to covering our expenses; in fact, our expenses are often 3-4 times the adoption fee.

We are volunteer-run and receive no funding; we rely completely on donations to save the lives of the homeless pets in our care.

We seek to match our feline and canine orphans with the best possible home for both the pet and the family—to ensure the best lifelong companionship for both.

Pet Food - How to Choose?

Providing a quality care starts with healthy, proper nutrition. Experts receommed premium pet brands more often than cheaper brands.

Premium brands often contain more meat and natural ingredients than cheaper brands. Cheaper foods usually contain fillers or bulk materials such as corn meal, glutens or by-products instead of chicken, fish or lamb. The higher the quality of food, the less the pet needs to consume to feel full – and produce less waste! Higher-quality foods also generally contain fewer dyes or artificial preservatives. It's important for you to be the expert and read the nutrition label to best understand what you are really feeding your pet. Talk with your veterinarian for assistance in determining the best food for your pet.
