OARS Volunteers Visit PAWS Chicago!
We learn amazing and inspiring things from a no-kill rescue that helped decrease Chicago's
homeless pet euthanasia rates by nearly 50%!
The OARS Board volunteers visited PAWS Chicago on Sunday, July 26, 2009, for a wonderful trip that taught us
how to best set up and operate an Adoption Center, to save even more homeless pets.
This model no-kill, cage-free rescue sets the standard for an animal rescue that is focused on high-quality care
and involving the community to make a difference for animals. From seeing Oprah's dog house to touring their
roof-top dog park, it was an experience we will never forget!
